The Pan-African flag was created in 1920 to represent people of the African Diaspora and to symbolize black liberation in the United States. Historically speaking, black Americans have never benefitted from our constitutional rights to the same capacity that white Americans have. Even to this day, black gun owners fight an uphill battle to be regarded in the same light as their white counterparts, as we've seen in cases like Philando Castile's.
Black gun owners are an essential part of our gun community and should be represented as such.
